Haas Factory Team Committed to NASCAR Cup Series

Haas Factory Team has confirmed its commitment to its NASCAR Cup Series operation, stating it will not sell its charter or expand beyond one car. This announcement was made during an event at Iowa Speedway, where the team revealed plans to add a third full-time entry to its NASCAR O'Reilly Series team for 2027, which will be driven by Dean Thompson.

Currently, Haas operates one full-time entry in the NASCAR Cup Series, driven by Cole Custer. Team president Joe Custer emphasized the team's dedication to improving its Cup performance, despite the challenges faced by single-car teams in the series. He noted that while charter prices have surged, Haas is focused on its current strategy and partnership with GM.

Custer highlighted the team's intention to strengthen its technical relationship with GM and other partners, aiming to leverage unique manufacturing capabilities. Gene Haas, who has been involved in NASCAR for over two decades, continues to support the team's vision, which does not include a return to a multi-car operation.
