Hamilton Critiques Ferrari's Strategy After Zandvoort Race

Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, has voiced his concerns regarding Ferrari's strategy during the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, suggesting it hindered his chances for a podium finish.

After overtaking Oscar Piastri for fifth place, Hamilton found himself behind his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc, who was slower on the track. Hamilton was frustrated by being instructed to pit when he felt his tires were still in good condition. He believed he should have been allowed to pass Leclerc, stating that he was quicker and had better tires.

As the race progressed, Hamilton's strategy became increasingly complicated. He eventually led the race after Lando Norris pitted but was soon overtaken by both Norris and Antonelli. After a late pit stop under a virtual safety car, Hamilton emerged in fourth place behind George Russell. He reflected on the missed opportunities and emphasized the need for better execution from his team, while Ferrari's team principal acknowledged that mistakes in qualifying and race execution contributed to their performance issues.
