Hamilton Urges Ferrari to Revise Driver Management After Monza Clash

Following a challenging Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Lewis Hamilton has urged Ferrari to establish clearer management protocols for their drivers, particularly in light of his recent clash with Charles Leclerc.

During the race, Hamilton and Leclerc raced closely through the opening chicane, resulting in Hamilton being forced into the gravel and dropping to tenth place. Leclerc later crashed at Parabolica, while Hamilton managed to recover to finish sixth.

Hamilton emphasized the importance of having structured rules, contrasting Ferrari's approach with the guidelines he follows at Mercedes. He stated that the responsibility for driver management lies with team principal Fred Vasseur. Vasseur acknowledged the need for Ferrari to reconsider their current strategy of allowing free racing between drivers, especially as the team faces challenges in the championship standings.
