Hannah Scott Aims for World Title After Personal Challenges

Scott, who won gold in Paris two years ago, has faced a series of personal challenges, including a significant breakup last Christmas. In the upcoming championships, Scott will compete in the women's quad sculls alongside teammates Finnola Stratton, Imogen Grant, and Lola Anderson. They will face tough competition from the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany, as well as a new Irish quad featuring 19-year-old Sophia Young, who recently earned silver at the world under-23 championships.
