Hannah Storm Announces Cancer Recovery, Will Miss NYC Marathon Broadcast
Hannah Storm, an anchor for ESPN, has announced that she is cancer-free following a hysterectomy. She had previously overcome breast cancer in 2024.
Storm had hoped to return to work for the New York City Marathon broadcast but will instead take additional time to recover at home. She expressed gratitude for her health and acknowledged her medical team at Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center.
ESPN has extended its best wishes for her recovery and noted that she will be missed during the marathon coverage. Storm had publicly shared her breast cancer diagnosis earlier in 2024 and underwent a successful lumpectomy, with plans to take tamoxifen for three years to reduce the risk of further cancer.
