Harbhajan Singh Discusses Expulsion from National Cricket Academy

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has revealed the circumstances surrounding his expulsion from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru in 2000. He was among the initial trainees at the NCA and expressed frustration over the food served, which did not align with the prescribed diet chart.

Harbhajan stated that despite multiple complaints regarding the inadequate food, no changes were made. His frustration culminated in an incident where he tore up the diet chart, which he claims was the reason for his removal from the academy. He emphasized that his actions were a fight for the rights of the trainees, asserting that the food quality was unacceptable.

Following his departure from the NCA, Harbhajan Singh went on to have a successful cricket career, representing India from 1998 to 2016 and achieving over 700 wickets across all formats.
