Haris Rauf Fined for Confrontation During ODI Against England
Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf faced disciplinary action after a confrontation during an ODI match against England in Lahore. He was fined 20% of his match fee and received a demerit point for his actions on the field.
The incident occurred in the 46th over of Pakistan's innings when Rauf, at the non-striker's end, engaged in a heated exchange with England's Will Jacks after appealing for a wide. Despite warnings from the umpire, Rauf continued the argument and moved towards Jacks, brushing past the umpire.
In addition to Rauf's penalty, England's team was fined 15% of their match fees for failing to maintain the required over-rate. Both Rauf and England captain Harry Brook accepted the charges, which were brought by the match officials. This match concluded with Pakistan winning by one wicket, securing their place in the ODI tri-series final against Sri Lanka.
