Harrison Coe's Future in AFL Uncertain After Delisting
Harrison Coe, a former ruck for Collingwood, is currently navigating uncertainty after being delisted following a six-month tenure in the AFL. He was selected with Pick 8 in the 2026 Mid-Season Draft but did not make his debut, as Collingwood opted for Carlton's Flynn Riley, who was picked at number 4.
Despite this setback, Coe is in discussions with several AFL clubs regarding potential opportunities as a delisted free agent or through the rookie draft. He showcased his skills in the VFL, averaging 14.7 disposals and 27.2 hit-outs over nine games, with a standout performance of 15 disposals and 44 hit-outs in his final match.
Three clubs are reportedly interested in Coe: Carlton, which needs ruck depth; St Kilda, seeking an experienced player to support their ruck division; and Greater Western Sydney, which is looking to bolster its squad after losing Kieren Briggs. Coe expressed a desire to remain in the AFL system and reflected on his experience, noting the challenges of waiting for a potential debut.
