Harry Brook has reached a significant milestone in his cricket career, becoming the first captain from a Full Member team to score two T20I centuries within a single calendar year. This achievement occurred during the first T20I match against Sri Lanka in Southampton, where Brook scored an unbeaten 114 runs off 49 balls.

Brook's century, which came in just 42 balls, adds to his impressive record, making him the sole captain to have two T20I centuries in 2026. His performance places him at the forefront of T20I centuries for captains, with his two centuries achieved in only 23 innings, compared to Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam's three centuries in 62 and 78 innings respectively.
