Hasan Mahmud Recalled by Bangladesh, Leaving Kent Short-Handed

Bowler Hasan Mahmud has been recalled by the Bangladesh national team, resulting in his absence for Kent's last two matches of the County Championship season.

The 26-year-old has taken 30 wickets in seven matches across both the Championship and T20 Blast. His recall comes as Bangladesh prepares for series against Afghanistan, West Indies, and South Africa.

Kent's director of cricket, Simon Cook, expressed disappointment over Mahmud's departure but acknowledged the Bangladesh Cricket Board's decision. Despite losing Mahmud, Kent will still have their other overseas bowlers available for the final matches as they aim for promotion.
