Haynes King Injured After Hall of Fame Game Heroics

Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Haynes King suffered a hamstring injury after leading his team to victory against the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday.

King, who is now considered 'week to week' with the injury, scored a game-winning 5-yard touchdown run as time expired, contributing to a thrilling 33-30 win. He completed 21 of 34 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns, along with 39 rushing yards.

The Panthers are expected to sign another quarterback while King is recovering, having recently worked out Kyle Trask and considering Jack Plummer as options. The team's next exhibition game is against the Houston Texans on August 28, just before the roster-cut deadline.
