Heather Gibbs Balances Roles as NASCAR Executive and Mother

Heather Gibbs serves as both an executive and a mother during NASCAR Cup Series races, co-owning Joe Gibbs Racing while supporting her son, Ty Gibbs, who has won two races this season and currently ranks second in the standings.

In the past, Heather experienced tension on the track, recalling a moment during an ARCA race at Iowa where her advice to Ty led to a poor decision. This prompted Ty to express his frustration, leading Heather to decide to limit her radio communication during races.

Despite her competitive nature, which she attributes to her family background, Heather now prefers to remain mostly silent on the radio, focusing on supporting Ty and the other drivers at Joe Gibbs Racing.
