Helmut Marko Invests in Austrian AI Start-Up After Leaving Red Bull
Helmut Marko, the former motorsport adviser for Red Bull, has made an investment in an Austrian artificial intelligence start-up named Lebensstimmen GmbH. This company, which will operate internationally as Words That Remain, allows users to leave personal messages for their loved ones to be delivered after their death.
Marko, who concluded his tenure with Red Bull at the end of the previous season, was announced as an investor during a launch event held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Vienna on October 20. Lebensstimmen provides a platform for digital end-of-life planning, enabling users to record or write messages that are sent to designated recipients posthumously. Additionally, the company has introduced an AI eulogist called the Fabertar, created in collaboration with Toni Faber, the cathedral pastor of St Stephen's in Vienna.
The founders of Lebensstimmen, Philipp Berkessy, Markus Pinter, and Lukas Stern, aim to fully launch their platform in Austria and internationally by the first quarter of 2027. Berkessy emphasized the importance of making end-of-life planning personal and secure, marking a new cultural approach to farewells in Austria.
