Henrietta Flavia Pereira was the highest bid at the inaugural Women’s Andhra Premier League auction held in Vijayawada, with Godavari Golden Eagles acquiring her for ₹4.3 lakhs.
In addition to Pereira, World Cup winner N. Shree Charani was signed by Rayalaseema Zen Stars for ₹1.1 lakhs, although her participation may be limited due to a scheduling conflict with the Asian Games. The youngest player selected was twelve-year-old A. Shanmukha Priya, who was picked up by Zen Stars for ₹30 thousand.
Amaravati e-Champions emerged as the largest spenders overall, investing ₹14.95 lakhs, followed closely by Golden Eagles at ₹14.80 lakhs. Zen Stars and Vizag Fire Birds each spent ₹14 lakhs. Zen Stars successfully filled their roster with a complete 20-player squad, while the other teams settled for 18 players.
