Hezly Rivera Wins Back-to-Back US Gymnastics Titles

Hezly Rivera, an 18-year-old gymnast, has made history by winning her second consecutive US women's gymnastics title, becoming the first American woman to achieve this feat since Simone Biles. Rivera secured her victory with a total score of 111.950 points, finishing ahead of runner-up Claire Pease.

During the competition, Rivera faced a setback when she fell during the uneven bars event but rebounded strongly on the final day. She had previously won her first national title in New Orleans last year. Rivera's win marks a significant achievement, as she is the first US woman to win back-to-back titles since Jordyn Wieber in 2011 and 2012.

While many of her Olympic teammates have taken breaks from competition, Rivera has remained active. Her performance continues to draw attention as she transitions from being an underdog at the Paris Olympics to a national champion.
