Hibernian Football Club has dismissed head coach David Gray after a defeat to Kilmarnock, leaving the team in ninth place in the Scottish Premiership.

This decision follows a fourth league loss in six matches this season, with Hibernian struggling at home, having lost six consecutive league games, a record not seen since 1920.

Gray, who was appointed in June 2024, had a promising start with a third-place finish in the 2024/25 season but has faced challenges this year. John Potter will serve as interim coach while the club seeks a new permanent head coach.
