Hiromu Takahashi Joins WWE SmackDown as Kyoki

Hiromu Takahashi has made his official debut on WWE SmackDown, now competing under the name Kyoki.

A video aired during the show confirming Takahashi as the new tag team partner of Shinsuke Nakamura. The duo is set to challenge the MFTs, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga, for the WWE Tag Team titles.

Takahashi, who last wrestled in February 2026 for NJPW, was a prominent junior heavyweight and a member of Los Ingobernables de Japon. The MFTs retained their titles earlier in the night against Damian Priest and R-Truth, with hints of tension between the latter two following the match.
