Brandon Miller and Christian Anderson Jr. of the Charlotte Hornets are currently dealing with injuries sustained during practice, leading to their absence from the team's preseason opener on Tuesday.

Miller is suffering from a shin contusion, while Anderson has a left ankle sprain. Both players are classified as day-to-day, according to the team's announcement.

Miller, in his fourth NBA season, is eligible for a rookie scale extension until October 19, whereas Anderson, a rookie, was selected 18th overall in the June draft.
