Houston Texans Experience Flight Delay Before London Game
The Houston Texans' journey to London for their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars was delayed due to a necessary plane switch before their overnight flight, as stated by coach DeMeco Ryans.
The team arrived in London early on Friday for their AFC South matchup against the Jaguars, who had played in London the previous week. Ryans noted that the delay was caused by an issue with their original plane, but assured that everyone was safe and well. Despite the setback, players adapted well, with quarterback C.J. Stroud mentioning that the extra time allowed for team bonding.
The Texans practiced at Harrow School, a historic institution in Britain. Additionally, wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is expected to make his debut with the Texans after a recent trade. Ryans indicated that there is no pressure on Harrison, while Stroud expressed confidence in his former teammate's ability to integrate into the team's offense. Linebacker Henry To’oTo’o participated fully in practice and is expected to play on Sunday, while two players remain questionable for the game.
