Hugh Jackman Expresses Interest in Buying Norwich Soccer Club
Hugh Jackman has expressed a desire to invest in Norwich City, a soccer club in England, aiming to join his friend Ryan Reynolds in the realm of sports ownership.
During an interview, Jackman revealed his long-standing support for Norwich, which is linked to his mother's hometown. He indicated a strong interest in discussing a potential purchase of a stake in the club, currently majority owned by Mark Attanasio, the principal owner of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Norwich City and Wrexham, the club owned by Reynolds, are rivals in the English second-tier Championship. While Norwich has a more prominent history, both clubs are anticipated to compete for promotion to the Premier League this season. Jackman praised Norwich's recent improvements under Belgian coach Philippe Clement.
