Hull KR's Tevita Pangai Junior and Mikey Lewis Suspended After Loss
Tevita Pangai Junior of Hull KR has been suspended for four games, and teammate Mikey Lewis has received a two-match ban after their match against Warrington Wolves on Tuesday.
Pangai was penalized for committing three late tackles during the game, which ended in a 34-28 defeat for Hull KR. His suspension will begin in Round 25, allowing him to play against Toulouse Olympique this Saturday, but he will miss the remaining regular-season matches against Wigan, Huddersfield, and St Helens, as well as potentially the first playoff match. Pangai had recently returned from a six-match ban for a previous incident.
Lewis was shown a yellow card for a dangerous play involving Warrington's Ewan Irwin and will miss the upcoming games against Wigan and Huddersfield. This suspension follows his return from a prior four-game ban for incidents in an earlier match against the same team. The suspensions pose a challenge for Hull KR as they aim to defend their Super League title, currently sitting fifth in the standings.
