Hunt Unveils Unreleased Ultra-Wide Gravel Wheels at MADE Show

At the 2026 MADE bike show, Hunt revealed an unreleased gravel wheelset designed for larger tires, specifically 45mm and 50mm setups. This new wheel, a variation of the Hunt 5AM Limitless model, features a 27mm internal width and an external width exceeding 40mm at the front.

The innovative design aims to improve aerodynamics by smoothing airflow from the tire to the carbon rim, preventing the tire from ballooning wider than the rim. Additionally, Hunt has incorporated a 9mm-wide bead edge to enhance rim durability against rock strikes, addressing potential vulnerabilities that come with wider wheels.

While the official launch is anticipated in the coming weeks, these wheels have already been tested by Hunt athletes in competitive settings, including the Life Time Grand Prix. Further details will be available on the Hunt website once released.
