Hurricane Lala's Aftermath: Two More Storms Developing in the Pacific
Hurricane Lala has caused significant damage to Highway 11 on Hawaii’s Big Island, leaving the islands to recover from its impact. Meanwhile, two additional tropical disturbances are forming in the Pacific, raising concerns about further storms.
The National Hurricane Center reports a low-pressure system south of Mexico's Pacific coast has a 70 percent chance of developing into a hurricane within the next week. This system is expected to move westward, remaining offshore.
Another disturbance, located closer to Hawaii, has a 50 percent chance of becoming a hurricane as it progresses westward, south of the islands. The National Hurricane Center indicates that environmental conditions are favorable for this system's development, with a potential tropical depression forming by the weekend. If this system intensifies, it will be named Moke, while the one off Mexico will be called Iselle.
