In locker room footage shared on social media, Garry referenced the 37-11 record of teammate Charles Oliveira, highlighting that losing in MMA does not define a fighter. He emphasized the importance of resilience and support from his team, stating that he learns from every experience.

UFC CEO Dana White, however, criticized Garry's performance, suggesting he lacked the necessary aggression to secure a win. White noted that Garry had opportunities to capitalize on Makhachev's vulnerabilities but instead opted for a more respectful approach in the final round.
