His comments come in the wake of the league losing financial backing from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. Poulter described the situation as akin to closing the doors on LIV Golf 1.0 and expressed concern for small businesses still owed money by the league.

Despite reports that LIV CEO Scott O’Neil has signed a term sheet with a new investor, the future remains unclear without an official announcement. Poulter had previously warned of a September 1 deadline for securing $300 million, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.
