Ilia Topuria has made his first post on X since June, indicating he is ready to return to fighting. Dana White announced on September 9 that Topuria is prepared to make a comeback after recovering from his first loss.

However, Topuria's coach stated that he will be ready to fight by February next year. In his recent post, Topuria expressed his desire for a rematch with Justin Gaethje, whom he faced at UFC Freedom 250, and hinted at suspicions regarding Gaethje's gloves during their fight.

Topuria's comments included a direct challenge to Gaethje and his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, indicating ongoing tension between them. Following Topuria's loss, Gaethje had dismissed the idea of an immediate rematch, suggesting Topuria must earn another opportunity.
