Iliman Ndiaye Joins Manchester City from Everton for £65 Million
Iliman Ndiaye has officially transferred to Manchester City from Everton in a deal that could reach £65 million. The 26-year-old Senegalese winger's move was finalized on deadline day, with the agreement comprising £60 million plus an additional £5 million in performance-related add-ons.
Ndiaye's career has seen a remarkable ascent, beginning in the seventh tier of English football. After joining Sheffield United from Boreham Wood, he made his Premier League debut in March 2021. Following a successful stint in the Championship, where he helped his team return to the Premier League, he moved to Everton for an initial fee of £16 million in July 2024. During his time at Everton, he became a fan favorite, scoring 15 goals and providing four assists in 67 league appearances.
This transfer comes on the same day that Manchester City agreed to pay a British record fee of £125 million for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, marking a busy summer for the club as they continue to strengthen their squad.
