Ilja Dragunov Reflects on GUNTHER's WWE Journey

Ilja Dragunov, a former WWE star, recently shared his thoughts on GUNTHER's career in WWE, particularly following GUNTHER's retirement of John Cena. Dragunov, who famously ended GUNTHER's 870-day championship reign at WWE NXT TakeOver 36, noted that GUNTHER's achievements set a high standard that he believes should be maintained.

Despite GUNTHER's past successes, including victories over notable wrestlers like Goldberg and AJ Styles, Dragunov expressed concern that GUNTHER's current push seems to have plateaued. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the level of excellence expected from someone who has retired a legend like Cena.

After leaving WWE in August due to a contractual disagreement, Dragunov joined AEW and made his debut at WrestleDream. Meanwhile, GUNTHER is currently engaged in a feud with Finn Balor while awaiting another opportunity for the Undisputed Championship.
