Ilja Dragunov to Debut Against Speedball Mike Bailey on AEW Dynamite

Ilja Dragunov will make his AEW in-ring debut on October 21, facing Speedball Mike Bailey during the AEW Dynamite episode. This announcement follows Dragunov's surprise appearance at WrestleDream, where his signing was officially confirmed.

AEW President Tony Khan revealed that Dragunov's match against Bailey will take place at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida. The match comes after Bailey's recent participation in the Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW World Championship.

Although this will be Dragunov's first match in AEW, he and Bailey have previously competed against each other in the independent wrestling scene, including a match in Germany in 2016. This upcoming contest is expected to showcase Dragunov's skills to a larger audience.
