Illegal Drugs Discovered at Creamfields Festival Site
Authorities have discovered large quantities of illegal drugs buried at the Creamfields Festival site in Daresbury, Cheshire, just days before the event is set to commence.
During a pre-event search, Cheshire Police unearthed over 204 canisters of nitrous oxide, along with bags containing ecstasy, MDMA, and ketamine tablets. The festival is expected to attract more than 80,000 attendees starting Thursday.
Police Superintendent Andy Blizard noted that there is a strict zero-tolerance policy on drugs and indicated that further searches will be conducted leading up to the festival. He warned that individuals who buried drugs may be disappointed to find them missing when they arrive. The police are also working to identify the owners of the buried substances.
