Imavov Announces Date for Title Rematch with Strickland

Nassourdine Imavov has announced that he has received a date for his upcoming UFC middleweight title rematch with Sean Strickland. This confirmation came during a fan event prior to UFC Paris.

Imavov stated that his next fight will be for the championship title. Strickland, who regained the middleweight title earlier this year at UFC 328 by defeating Khamzat Chimaev, is set to face Imavov again. The rematch is anticipated to occur at UFC 334 in November at Madison Square Garden, although the full card details have yet to be disclosed.

Previously, Strickland defeated Imavov in a short-notice match at the UFC Apex as both fighters were rising in the middleweight division. Imavov has not fought in nearly a year, and while the promotion has not officially named him as the next challenger, the rematch is highly anticipated.
