Immanuel Feyi-Waboso Expected to Return for England's Nations Championship
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, the England winger, is anticipated to be available for the upcoming Nations Championship matches after a recent scan indicated a favorable prognosis regarding his hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old sustained the injury during Exeter's 34-28 victory over Newcastle, exiting the match in the second half. Despite missing the Six Nations earlier this year due to a hamstring issue, he has participated in every league game for Exeter this season, although he will not play in the European Champions Cup match against Toulouse.
Feyi-Waboso played a significant role in England's summer Nations Championship, scoring tries against Fiji and Argentina. Exeter's director of rugby, Rob Baxter, noted that the scan results were not alarming and expressed hope for Feyi-Waboso's recovery. As a centrally contracted player, the England team will oversee his treatment, with the first of their final three Nations Championship games scheduled against Australia on November 8.
