Immanuel Feyi-Waboso to Undergo Scan for Hamstring Injury
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, the England winger, is set to undergo a scan to evaluate a hamstring injury he sustained during Exeter's recent victory over Newcastle. The injury occurred 15 minutes into the second half of the match, which Exeter won 34-28, marking their first win of the season.
The 23-year-old has been a key player for Exeter, starting in all three of their Premiership matches this season and scoring two tries in a previous game against Bath. He also played in all three of England's Nations Championship matches over the summer, scoring against Fiji and Argentina.
Feyi-Waboso had previously missed the Six Nations due to a hamstring injury and the latter part of the 2024-25 season because of a shoulder injury. Exeter's director of rugby, Rob Baxter, indicated that while the injury appears to be a concern, it is not expected to be severe.
