Imran Khan's Health Declines in Solitary Confinement

Concerns are growing regarding the health of Imran Khan, the former Pakistani prime minister and cricket legend, who is currently in solitary confinement. His sons, Kasim and Sulaiman Khan, reported that he is experiencing significant health issues after spending three years in Rawalpindi’s Adiala prison.

The brothers noted that Khan is facing high blood pressure, heart palpitations, and anxiety, which they attribute to the isolation he endures. They mentioned that he is not allowed reading materials and has limited access to the outside world, living in a small, hot cell.

Despite a Supreme Court order for Khan to receive treatment from independent doctors, he was instead examined at a military facility. His sisters have also indicated that his health is worsening. The brothers have not been able to communicate with him for over six months, raising concerns about his well-being. Supporters, including Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins, have called for better treatment for Khan, while the Pakistan government denies any mistreatment.
