Imran Khan's Sons Raise Alarms Over His Prison Conditions

Sulaiman Khan and Kasim Khan, sons of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, have voiced serious worries regarding their father's health and the conditions of his imprisonment. They claim that Imran has been kept in prolonged isolation and lacks sufficient medical attention as he nears three years in prison.

Kasim reported that Imran has experienced significant vision loss in one eye, estimating an 80% reduction in sight, and noted that he has been seen wearing an eye patch. The brothers stated that Imran spends over 23 hours a day alone in a small cell with limited access to books and basic comforts, and they criticized the lack of air conditioning during the hot summer months.

The family is focused on ensuring Imran receives proper medical care. Kasim described his father as appearing visibly stressed and emphasized the urgency of his medical needs. The brothers also shared their struggles to visit Imran, claiming their visas were blocked. Following a court order for a medical examination, they expressed disappointment when he was taken to a government facility instead of a private hospital, where doctors were waiting to treat him.
