Inception Racing to Compete with Corvette in 2027 IMSA Season

Inception Racing is set to begin its fifth consecutive full-time campaign in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2027, transitioning to the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The team will compete in the Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) class while keeping its driver lineup of Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff, and Ollie Millroy.

The #70 Corvette Z06 GT3.R will be backed by Optimum Motorsport, with Iribe and Schandorff participating in the full season and Millroy joining for the endurance rounds. This partnership connects a leading independent team with a well-established factory support program in sports car racing.

Inception Racing's Sporting Director expressed enthusiasm about joining the Corvette family, highlighting the strong racing heritage and fan loyalty associated with the brand. The team aims to build a solid relationship with General Motors and Pratt Miller as they prepare for the upcoming season.
