Indiana Hoosiers Face Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 6 College Football Showdown

The Indiana Hoosiers, who won the national championship last season, are set to face the undefeated Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday at noon ET. The Hoosiers, currently ranked seventh, are favored by 7.5 points as they travel to Nebraska.

Despite losing key players, including Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Indiana has maintained a strong performance this season under head coach Curt Cignetti. New quarterback Josh Hoover, a transfer from TCU, ranks third nationally in passer rating and touchdowns. The Hoosiers' offense averages 44.2 points per game, while Nebraska's offense is close behind at 43.6 points per game.

Nebraska, led by quarterback Anthony Colandrea, has shown promise this season and ranks 17th in total defense. The matchup against Indiana will serve as a significant test for the Cornhuskers as they aim to prove their competitiveness in the Big Ten.
