Indiana Players Granted TRO to Compete in 2026

Two players from Indiana University, Stephen Daley and Kellan Wyatt, have been granted a temporary restraining order that permits them to compete during the 2026-27 season. This ruling was issued by Judge Kara Krothe, who stated that the order prevents the NCAA and any conferences from barring the players from participating.

The players had rejoined the Indiana program in early August, but their eligibility was uncertain until the recent court decision. Judge Krothe clarified that the intention of the ruling is to restore the players to their previous status at the end of their last college sports season, provided they meet academic and eligibility requirements.

As the Indiana Hoosiers prepare to start their season against North Texas on Saturday, it remains unclear if Daley and Wyatt will take the field.
