India's Boxing Team Shines at Commonwealth Games 2026

During Day 10 of the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, India celebrated a remarkable performance, highlighted by a historic achievement in boxing where all ten Indian boxers advanced to the finals. This guarantees the country at least ten silver medals, marking the most successful boxing campaign in Commonwealth Games history.

Neeraj Chopra earned a silver medal in the men's javelin throw, while Yash Vir Singh secured bronze in the same event. In judo, Asmita Dey made history by winning India's first gold medal in the women's 48kg category, and Harsh Singh followed suit with a gold in the men's 60kg division.
