IndyCar Reveals Initial Schedule for 2027 Season

IndyCar has unveiled Phase One of its 2027 series schedule, which will commence with three consecutive race weekends in March. This announcement follows a notable 16% increase in television viewership this year, marking the highest audience numbers since 2008.

The preliminary schedule includes eight races, starting with a three-week stretch in March, followed by a return to Barber Motorsports Park in early April. The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is also set for April 18, after a record attendance of over 200,000 spectators in 2026.

All races will be broadcast live on FOX, ensuring that IndyCar remains the only major motorsport series in North America with its entire schedule on network television. Further details regarding Phase Two of the 2027 schedule, including summer races and broadcast times, will be announced soon.
