Injuries Strike Texans During Joint Practice with Panthers

The Houston Texans faced a challenging joint practice with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday, as multiple players were injured, necessitating the use of carts for transport.

Offensive tackle Braden Smith and defensive lineman Ali Gaye both required assistance to leave the field, with their injuries occurring in quick succession, leading them to share a cart.

Smith, who joined the Texans as a free agent this offseason, is a candidate for the starting right tackle position, having previously played 105 games for the Indianapolis Colts. Gaye, claimed off waivers from the Titans in May, is competing for a backup role on the Texans' defensive line.
