Injury Update: Christian Watson Hospitalized, Will Lee Suffers Hamstring Injury
Christian Watson of the Packers was injured during a game after making a 53-yard reception from Jordan Love with 9:11 left in the second quarter.
After landing on the ball, Watson was seen holding his chest, while Panthers cornerback Will Lee, who landed on him, was in visible pain clutching his left hamstring. Lee required a cart to reach the training room as he could not put weight on his leg, while Watson walked to the training room before being transported to a local hospital for precautionary measures.
The Packers initially listed Watson as questionable to return due to his chest injury. He recorded six catches for 100 yards in the game, marking a career-high total of 695 receiving yards for the season. The Packers scored a touchdown following Watson's catch, leading the game 13-10. Lee has been listed as doubtful to return, and Chau Smith-Wade took his place, marking the fourth cornerback loss for the Panthers this season.
