Innovative Time Trial Technology at Tour de France Femmes
The Tour de France Femmes featured a unique display of time trial technology during its only time trial stage in Gevrey-Chambertin. This event allowed for a closer look at various innovative setups, including custom bikes and components.
Notably, the team Ma Petite Entreprise showcased L-Twoo's R-EX groupsets, highlighting the increasing presence of Asian brands in Western markets. The components included brake levers, shifters, and disc brake calipers, while the chainsets were either Shimano Ultegra or Dura-Ace.
Aero bar extensions were also prominent, with many riders opting for custom-made options from brands like Speeco and WattShop. The bike of Marlen Reusser, the eventual winner and current world and European time trial champion, was also on display, adorned with championship colors.
