Inter Miami Faces New York Red Bulls as Messi Returns

Lionel Messi is set to return to the pitch for Inter Miami as they take on the New York Red Bulls this Saturday at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 PM ET.

Inter Miami is currently in strong form, seeking their fourth consecutive win in Major League Soccer. They have already secured a playoff spot and are aiming to improve their standing in the Eastern Conference, currently sitting second with 55 points. Messi recently scored twice in a match against Atlanta, contributing to Miami's impressive goal tally of 71 this season.

In contrast, the New York Red Bulls are struggling, positioned 10th in the Eastern Conference with 36 points. They need a strong finish to have any hope of making the playoffs. Both teams have a balanced head-to-head record, with each winning six of their previous encounters. The Red Bulls are expected to field a fully fit squad, while Miami will likely feature Messi alongside Luis Suárez and Germán Berterame in their lineup.
