Introducing Jak Crawford: Rising Star in Formula 2
Jak Crawford, who finished as the runner-up in Formula 2 in 2025, is also serving as a reserve driver for Aston Martin. His motorsport journey began at the age of four when he started karting, encouraged by his father.
Crawford's early interest in racing was influenced by NASCAR, which was popular in his hometown. He has highlighted his strengths in high-speed cornering and teamwork. Despite the challenges of not always racing, he has been actively involved in simulator work and testing.
In 2019, Crawford joined the Red Bull Junior Team after a meeting with advisor Helmut Marko. His transition to Aston Martin came at the end of 2024, where he initially worked as a development driver before becoming the third driver. He enjoys various sports and is optimistic about securing a full-time racing seat within the next two years, ideally with Aston Martin.
