Isack Hadjar Discusses Transition to Red Bull Team
Isack Hadjar has shared insights about his transition from Racing Bulls to the senior Red Bull team, labeling the experience a culture shock. The 21-year-old driver is set to partner with Max Verstappen for the 2026 season after spending his rookie year with Racing Bulls.
Hadjar noted that despite both teams being under the same parent company, the differences in working environments were significant. He credited his time in the junior program for easing the transition, mentioning that he had been integrated into the Red Bull pipeline since 2021, which included early practice sessions and testing.
He emphasized that his relationship with his engineer, Richard Wood, dates back three years, making the promotion feel more familiar. Hadjar expressed pride in being part of a world champion team and acknowledged the unique experience of stepping into a role alongside a seasoned teammate.
