Isack Hadjar Faces Challenges in Austin Practice Session
During the Formula 1 practice at the Circuit of the Americas, Isack Hadjar encountered major challenges with his car setup, leading to a disappointing performance. While teammate Max Verstappen reported a generally positive experience, Hadjar finished 14th and felt he had made the wrong adjustments after an initially satisfactory FP1 session.
Hadjar expressed frustration over the car's handling, particularly during his qualifying simulation, where he lagged nearly a second behind Verstappen. He noted that his front tyres overheated quickly, making the car difficult to drive, especially in high-speed corners. Despite these setbacks, he remains optimistic about making necessary changes before qualifying.
Red Bull's technical director, Pierre Wache, acknowledged the balance issues affecting Hadjar's performance, emphasizing the need for adjustments to improve tyre management. Hadjar is hopeful that further setup modifications will enhance his driving experience ahead of the qualifying session.
