Isack Hadjar Injured, Liam Lawson Set to Race at Dutch Grand Prix
Isack Hadjar, a Formula 1 driver, will not participate in the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend due to a wrist injury. Red Bull Racing announced on Wednesday that Liam Lawson will step in to race alongside Max Verstappen.
The team indicated that Hadjar sustained the injury during the summer break but did not provide specifics on the incident. Lawson, who previously had a challenging stint with the main team at the start of the 2025 season, has been promoted from the Racing Bulls team.
Currently, Lawson ranks ninth in the F1 driver standings, just behind Hadjar, who has accumulated 68 points. Kimi Antonelli leads the standings with 219 points, while Verstappen holds sixth place with 109 points. Yuki Tsunoda will take Lawson's place at Racing Bulls for the weekend. The team expressed gratitude to both drivers for their flexibility and wished Hadjar a quick recovery.
