Isack Hadjar Receives Formal Warning for Paddock Misconduct
Isack Hadjar has received a formal warning due to an allegation of misconduct that occurred in the paddock before the start of FP1 at the Mexico City Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver reported that he was late for FP1 and had paused to take a photo with a young fan when he was approached aggressively by a paddock guest. A security personnel present was unable to intervene during the incident, which Hadjar described as an invasion of his personal space.
Hadjar initially attempted to maintain distance by placing his hand on the guest's waist and later pushed him aside with his right hand. Although this action was deemed a breach of regulations, the stewards considered several mitigating factors, including the aggressive nature of the guest's approach and the lack of adequate security, before issuing the warning.
