Isack Hadjar Receives Warning for Incident with Fan at Mexico GP
Isack Hadjar, a driver for Red Bull, has received a formal warning from the stewards of the Mexico Grand Prix after an incident in the paddock where he pushed away a fan attempting to take a selfie. This event occurred on Friday before the opening practice session at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
The incident was classified as misconduct, with Hadjar being summoned to explain his actions. He reported that he was late for the practice session and had initially stopped for a photo with a young fan when another paddock guest approached him aggressively. Despite a security presence, the situation escalated, leading Hadjar to push the individual aside, which was deemed a breach of the International Sporting Code.
In light of the circumstances, including the aggressive approach of the fan and the lack of adequate security, the stewards considered these factors in their decision. Following this incident, Hadjar faced a challenging practice session, finishing 11th and experiencing power unit issues, but improved to sixth place in the second practice session.
